Fall sports are right around the corner, and a few things are needed in order to tryout.

First things first, GET A PHYSICAL. This is the most important aspect of being cleared to participate in any sport this upcoming school year. CIPPE Section 6 titled PIAA COMPREHENSIVE INITIAL PRE-PARTICIPATION PHYSICAL EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION OF AUTHORIZED MEDICAL EXAMINER is the only paper copy needed. Print it out and take it with you to the doctors. Physicals dated before 06/01/2023 cannot be accepted for this upcoming school year.

In the past, physical paper copies of the entire CIPPE physical packet were accepted. We have moved to a software called Big Teams, which allows us to have electronic versions of the copies all in one place. www.planeths.com will get you there. All of the forms must be signed and completed by BOTH student and parent accounts, which get linked together. We will NOT be accepting physical paper copies of the CIPPE packet. Everything must be completed on Big Teams. 

If you plan on playing a contact sport at any point this school year, you must complete the ImPACT Concussion test. This is found directly on Big Teams and must be taken on a computer, not a phone or tablet.

Along with completing the forms on Big Teams, EVERY student athlete is required to complete the CCET Concussion training module, contact sport or not. This CCET program teaches students to recognize signs and symptoms, understand the importance of reporting concussions, and grow awareness to concussion treatment.
